The A-GraV Zoomer is a hovercraft that can traverse land and water. It is used to traverse long passes that link certain areas together. Keira, Samos's daughter, offers to lend her heat shielded A-GraV Zoomer to Jak and Daxter, which requires Power Cells to withstand the heat of Fire Canyon. Jak and Daxter gather enough Power Cells to fuel the Zoomer's heat shield, allowing them to cross Fire Canyon and reach Rock Village. Later, they take the Zoomer to Gol and Maia's citadel. The Zoomer is powered by Power Cells, the game's primary collectible, which are earned by completing tasks, defeating bosses, or finding them in the environment.

In Their Own Story

The air smelled of salt and rust as Jak approached the derelict Zoomer parked behind the village workshop. Daxter perched on his shoulder, complaining about the heat. 'You're really gonna fix that heap?' he said. Jak ignored him, fitting a Power Cell into the engine. A low hum vibrated through the frame, and the hover-pads glowed blue. Without a word, Jak swung into the seat. The Zoomer lifted off the ground, wobbling at first, then steady. Daxter whooped as they shot across the beach, the wind whipping past. For a moment, the world was just speed and freedom.
