The canyon's heat shimmers, distorting the air above bubbling lava. Jak balances on a crumbling stone pillar, Daxter clinging to his shoulder. Below, a Lurker scout spots them and hurls a flaming spear. Jak leaps, grabbing a ledge as the pillar collapses into the molten river. The scout snarls, but a Precursor eco vent nearby pulses—Jak absorbs the blue energy, his speed surging.
